What we do

Feltham Food Bank has been serving the local community in London Borough of Hounslow since it opened its doors in March 2013.  It is run by volunteers and we are entirely dependent on generous donations from individuals in the community and local businesses.  We became a registered charity in October 2015.

People in our local community go hungry for a number of reasons, such as redundancy or receiving an unexpected bill while on a low income or delayed payment of Universal Credit. Our aim is to provide food for adults and children in the community who cannot otherwise afford to purchase food. Where possible, we also provide toiletries.

We also use monetary donations to top up our food supply and also provide bespoke assistance, when we can, for individuals and families who are experiencing food poverty and who have very young children and babies.

As well as having regular donations from local businesses, schools and community organisations, the food bank is fortunate to receive individual food and monetary donations. Who we are?

As a charity, FFB is governed by a group of Trustees, who volunteer their time to ensure the smooth running of the Food Bank.

We are also a registered charity (charity no: 1163930).
