Getting Help

If you would like to use the Food Bank yourself

a) You need to be a resident of the London Borough of Hounslow and living in post codes TW13 or TW14 and

b) Be referred by a professional organisation (see below) and

c) You must not be receiving support from another Food Bank - resources are limited and we want to ensure as many people are helped as possible.

Getting a Referral

The London Borough of Hounslow Community Solutions team can be contacted by telephone, email or in person at face to face meetings in Feltham. Please follow the link to find out contact details and times. In addition, we also accept referrals from:

  • Citizens Advice
  • Health visitors
  • Schools
  • Social workers
  • Hospitals
  • Hounslow Council – Children and Adult Services
  • DWP/Job Centres
  • Social Housing Providers
  • Domiciliary Care and Support Providers
Support is offered at the discretion of the Trustees. Once your referral has been processed you will be contacted by us. Please don't come to the Food Bank without having been contacted first, as we have a waiting list and help people in turn. Sometimes the DWP incorrectly says you can come direct, this isn't the case so always check with us first.

In an emergency, we may be able to help you with some food but we can only do this once.

To refer someone to the Food Bank.

If you are a professional and believe someone is in need of the food bank and would like to refer them, please contact us via email once you have checked they meet the eligibility criteria above and we will send you a referral form.

If you would prefer to speak to our Trustees in person and in confidence about an individual or family that you are concerned about, please get in touch.
